|Cherrywood is a mainstream primary school. Whilst we do not have any special provision for children Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), we are an inclusive school that aims to provide for the individual needs of all children attending the school.|

Our Cherrywood Autism Ambassador is Mrs S Casey. If you would like to discuss your child’s support with ASD please arrange to meet Mrs Casey through our school office.

Want to refer your child to the NHS therapies service?
If you have concerns about your child’s speech and language or physical development you can find out how to self refer here. (This can be done before they start school too.)
As a parent, you can refer your child directly to the Children’s Therapy Service. If you would like to refer your child, please fill out the referral form found on the link above or call them on 0300 300 2019. A member of their team will ask you a few questions to get some background information before advising you on what will happen next and what to expect at your first appointment.

If you have any other concerns, please use their telephone advice line on 0300 300 2019. You can call to discuss any concerns with their team of professionals. A speech and language therapist, occupational therapist or physiotherapist will be on hand to help out.
