Policies

Cherrywood has policies and procedures to ensure all stakeholders are aware of the agreed expectations within school.  The policies are carefully considered and stakeholders are consulted where beneficial.  They provide common understanding and agreement on procedures at Cherrywood. They are clear instructions and guidelines on what should/must be done in a particular set of circumstances or with regard to particular issues.

Policies are regularly reviewed to ensure that they meet statutory requirements, the needs of the pupils and are reflective of what happens in our school.   The date the policy was agreed and the next review date are at the bottom of each policy.

n.b. Requests for paper copies: If you are a parent of a pupil at Cherrywood and would like a paper copy of any policy, please request one at our school office and it will be provided to you free of charge.
