Keeping Safe

It is of paramount importance to us Cherrywood that we ensure all pupils in our care are kept safe.

We lead a variety of events each year to ensure children learn how to keep safe.  These are some that we have done in the last year:

Anti Bullying Week 2016

Junior Road Safety Officers helping our youngest pupils keep safe – January 2017

Fire Service – January 2017

These are the key policies that outline how we keep pupils safe:

Safeguarding Policy and Hampshire County Council’s Safeguarding Children in Education Page

Child Protection Policy

Health and Safety Policy

First Aid

E-safety policy

Anti bullying policy

We also follow the government statutory documents:

The Prevent Duty 2015

Keeping Safe in Education 2016

These additional policies show how we keep children safe more broadly:

Policy for Cultural, Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education

Positive Behaviour Policy

Anti-Bullying Policy

E-Safety Page

ICT Policy

E-Safety Leaflet
