Future Fire Fighters in the making
Elm and Chestnut Classes were visited by Rushmoor Fire Service this week. They learnt about how they tackle fires and save lives. They also found out about other roles the Fire Service has which include community support and sometimes even saving cats from trees!
After listening to the fire fighters the children got the chance to sit inside the fire engine and use the horn; they also examined at the fire equipment and breathing apparatus on board.
