End of Term Wishes
I cannot believe that we have once again reached the end of another school year.
The emotion of what this can mean was certainly highlighted at last night’s leavers event. There was a real mixture of feelings as we saw how much they have grown during their time at Cherrywood and the aspirations they have for their future lives. I would like to wish them the very best of luck for secondary school and thanks to their parents for all the support they have given over the years.
Not only is today the last day for year 6 we also say goodbye to a number of staff members – Mrs Larmer, Mrs Fowler, Mrs Lord, Miss Bottle. I would like to wish them the very best for the future and many thanks for all they have done in their time at Cherrywood.
I would like to thank all of the staff for their hard work this year and their constant efforts to support children to make progress.
Lastly I would like to thank all of the children for their hard work this year and the enthusiasm they have shown for returning in September; another class further up the school. None of this would be possible without the support of parents with reading at home, practicing spellings, attending assemblies and various other events etc. I am really grateful for all your support and I wish you a relaxing summer.
See you all in September.
